Danny Randell
Co-Editor-in-chief
Danny is a Master's candidate at the University of Calgary's School of Public Policy and is President of the MPP Student Association. Prior to attending the School of Public Policy, he completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History at Ambrose University. Danny has worked as a writer for the last three years. His work has appeared in the Calgary Herald, Ottawa Citizen and elsewhere. His research interests include defence Policy, social media and culture, secularism, and democracy. Outside of academia, Danny enjoys running, reading or good conversation with friends.
Jennifer Rossi
Co-Editor-in-chief
Jennifer is a Master's candidate at the University of Calgary's School of Public Policy and is Vice-President Communications of the MPP Student Association. Prior to attending the School of Public Policy, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a Minor in Business from the University of Victoria. Her research interests include energy and environment, international trade, Indigenous policy and municipal development. Outside of academia, Jennifer enjoys reading, golfing and skiing.
sarah hertz – founder
Sarah completed her MPP at the University of Calgary's School of Public Policy. Her Capstone project, supervised by Dr Myles Leslie, is a comparative study of Calgary and Detroit that examines the decline of single-industry cities. Following graduation, Sarah relocated to Ottawa (with her husband and two cats) for a job as a Policy Advisor with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. She now works for the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, as a Policy and Performance Analyst, focusing on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) best practices. She holds a Master's (MPhil) in Renaissance Literature from the University of Cambridge and a BA Honours in English from the University of Calgary.
