About the Author: Jessica Kohek is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the School of Public Policy. Her research focuses on social policy, with focus on community capacity building, community-based research partnerships, and knowledge mobilization. Past work will inform the Research to Social Action Hub supported by the O’Brien Institute of Public Health, which will formalize a local network of academics, policymakers, and community organizations. Currently, she is contributing to an Alberta-wide Taskforce to craft inclusive COVID-19 response strategies for Albertans with disabilities.
